# Conneti — Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Conneti ("we", "our", "the Platform"). By creating an account or using the Conneti website or mobile application (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms.

## 1. What Conneti is (and is not)

Conneti is a **connective platform**. We introduce passengers to independent drivers of cars, SUVs, trucks, and buses. We do not own vehicles, employ drivers, set fares, or transport passengers. Every trip is a private arrangement between a passenger and a driver.

Bicycles, motorcycles, and tricycles (keke) are not permitted on the Platform.

## 2. Accounts

- You must be **at least 18 years old** to create an account.
- You must provide accurate information, including a valid Nigerian phone number.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- One account per person.

## 3. Fares and payment

- Conneti does **not** set, collect, or guarantee fares.
- Passenger and driver agree the price directly by chat or call.
- Payment is made off-Platform (cash or bank transfer).
- Conneti charges **no commission** on rides in this version.
- Subscription features (Conneti Pass) and rental commissions, when introduced, will be clearly disclosed and require separate acceptance.

## 4. Driver obligations

Drivers agree to:
- Hold a valid Nigerian driver's licence and vehicle registration.
- Register the vehicle plate number truthfully; false plates are grounds for permanent ban.
- Maintain the vehicle in a reasonably safe, clean, roadworthy condition.
- Comply with the Federal Road Safety Corps and Delta State transport regulations.
- Not discriminate against any passenger on the basis of religion, tribe, gender, or disability.
- Not solicit passengers off-Platform or bypass negotiation flows to defraud.

## 5. Passenger obligations

Passengers agree to:
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off information.
- Treat drivers and vehicles with respect.
- Pay the agreed fare at the end of the trip.
- Not use the Service for illegal purposes.

## 6. Prohibited conduct

The Platform may not be used for: transporting illegal goods, harassment, fraud, impersonation, sharing others' personal data, scraping the app, or interfering with the Service.

## 7. Ratings and removal

Users may rate one another after every trip. Persistently low-rated users, verified fraud reports, or serious safety incidents may result in suspension or permanent removal.

## 8. Safety and SOS

The Platform provides safety features (SOS, share-trip, in-app reporting) as a good-faith service, not a replacement for emergency services. In an emergency, call the Nigeria Police (**112**) or Federal Road Safety Corps (**122**) directly.

## 9. Limitation of liability

Conneti is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Conneti is **not liable** for loss, injury, damage, delay, or theft arising from any trip, rental, or interaction between users. Our maximum aggregate liability to any user shall not exceed ₦10,000 in any twelve-month period.

## 10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice.

## 11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in-app.

## 12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved by arbitration seated in **Nigeria**, in English, under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.
