# Conneti — Driver Agreement

This Agreement is between the driver ("you") and Conneti ("we"). By enabling driver mode, you accept these terms in addition to the Platform Terms and Privacy Policy.

## 1. Independent contractor

You are an **independent contractor**, not an employee, partner, or agent of Conneti. You control when and where you drive.

## 2. Eligibility & KYC

You warrant that:
- You are at least 18 and hold a valid Nigerian driver's licence.
- The vehicle is registered in your name or you are authorised to use it.
- The plate number provided is genuine and matches the vehicle.
- You will submit photographs and a short walk-around video for inspection.

## 3. Vehicle standards

Your vehicle must be:
- A car, SUV, truck, or bus (no bicycles, motorcycles, or tricycles).
- Roadworthy, with functional seatbelts, lights, brakes, and tyres.
- Reasonably clean inside and out.
- Covered by valid insurance where required by law.

We may re-inspect at any time. Serious defects lead to suspension until fixed.

## 4. Conduct

You will:
- Treat every passenger with respect. **No discrimination.**
- Not smoke or drive under the influence during a trip.
- Not solicit tips outside the agreed fare.
- Not share passenger details with third parties.
- Not use another driver's account.

## 5. Fares

You agree fares directly with passengers. Conneti **does not take commission** on rides in this version. If commission on rentals or subscription features are introduced later, you will be asked to accept them separately.

## 6. Ratings

You will be rated after every trip. A rolling average below 3.5 stars over your last 20 trips may lead to review or suspension.

## 7. Safety obligations

- Confirm passenger identity at pickup.
- Follow the agreed route unless the passenger requests otherwise.
- Report any incident via the in-app SOS or reports feature.
- Cooperate with lawful investigations.

## 8. Suspension & removal

We may suspend or remove drivers who: falsify KYC, receive substantiated safety complaints, breach these terms, or become uninsurable.

## 9. Indemnity

You indemnify Conneti against claims arising from your operation of the vehicle, breaches of law, or misconduct toward passengers.

## 10. Governing law

Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes: arbitration in Nigeria.
